“National Night Out is a great opportunity for those of us in law enforcement to get out and spend time with the people we serve and for the community to participate in local anticrime programs. This event further strengthens the law enforcement and community partnership and sends a message to criminals that we are one, these are our neighborhoods, and we are going to keep our children and communities safe,” Sheriff John E. Zaruba said.

Residents of DuPage County are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for National Night Out. 15,000 communities, from all 50 states, with over 37 million people nationwide are expected to participate in this event.
