Metra Stopped Due to 'Police Activity' in Wheaton

A Metra Union Pacific West Line train scheduled to arrive in Elburn at 2:06 p.m. stops at College Avenue for more than two hours due to police activity in Wheaton.

A Metra Union Pacific West Line train scheduled to arrive in Elburn at 2:06 p.m. Wednesday stopped at the College Avenue station in Wheaton due to 'police activity near Wheaton,' according to an email alert from Metra.

A Metra employee at the College Avenue station said the train had been stopped for more than two hours at around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday. 

An eastbound train scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 2:47 p.m. stopped in West Chicago. It is now on the move and operating 96 minutes behind schedule, according to Metra.
