MONDAY, JUNE 10

Car Gets Spray-Paint Job

Someone used a blue aerosol-based paint to spray letters on a 2008 silver Chevy Equinox. The incident occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in a parking lot on the 400 block of Howard Street. The letters were sprayed on the front passenger-side door of the vehicle.

Drug Paraphernalia

Police charged Aaron D. Martinez, 22, of the 1N100 block of Delano Street, Carol Stream, with possession of drug paraphernalia. Martinez was arrested at 1:26 a.m. at Schmale and Thornhill and then released from the scene.

Felony Controlled Substance Possession

Police charged Kayanna Madelyn Barreras, 31, of the first block of North Willie Street, Mount Prospect, with felony possession of a controlled substance and driving while license suspended. Barreras was arrested at 5:28 p.m. at Main Street and Roosevelt Road while driving a blue 1998 Ford Mustang, according to a police report. Barreras was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and then transferred to the DuPage County Jail, where she was later released. 

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

Cannabis Possession

Police charged Seth D. Cronk, of the 200 block of South Wood, Wheaton, with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Cronk was arrested at 4:36 p.m. at Hill Avenue and Newton in Glen Ellyn, following an incident on the 200 block of North Wood in Wheaton at 4:02 p.m., according to a report. He was then released from the scene.

FRIDAY, MAY 31

Pen Graffiti

Someone wrote in pen graffiti on a stairway wall on the 1300 block of South Lorraine. The incident occurred at 5 p.m. May 30 and 8 a.m. May 31, according to a police report.
