Man Gets Away With Cart Full of Stolen Items: Police Blotter

THURSDAY, SEPT. 12

Retail Theft

Police charged Susan M. Kincaid, 44, of the 0N500 block of Willow Road, Wheaton, with retail theft. Kincaid was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on the 400 block of South County Farm Road. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that afternoon.

Man Walks Out With Stolen Items

An unknown male subject pushed a cart full of items out of the south exit doors of a store without paying for the merchandise on the 600 block of South County Farm Road, police said. The incident occurred between 10:05 a.m. and 10:25 a.m., according to security video from the store.

Retail Theft, Suspended License

Police charged Tatiana Marquita Latrice Johnson, 30, of the 1900 block of South Homan Street, Chicago, with retail theft and a suspended driver's license. Johnson was arrested at 12:05 p.m. on the 400 block of South County Farm Road. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that afternoon.

Washer, Blower, Radio Stolen

Someone took a power washer, leaf bower and cordless radio from a work van on the 900 block of East College Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 4 p.m. Sept. 6 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 9 while the van was parked behind a building. The washer, blower and radio are valued at $1,040 total, according to a police report.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 4

Pricey Camera Snatched

Someone took a woman's digital camera and black camera bag on the 1200 block of East Liberty Drive, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. while the camera and bag were next to the woman's vehicle at the end of a driveway on the ground. The camera and bag are valued at $1,300 total, according to a police report.
