Darryl Montique is accused of stealing multiple iPads, iPhones and Toughbook Computers from the distribution centers in unincorporated Naperville and Villa Park.

A 23-year-old Kankakee man has been arrested after police said he burglarized two AT&T distribution centers in unincorporated Naperville and Villa Park in recent weeks.

Darryl Montique, of the 800 block of North Evergreen Street in Kankakee, has been charged with two counts of burglary for allegations that he stole over $40,000 worth of computer and phone equipment from the two AT&T locations in
DuPage County, according to a DuPage County Sheriff's Office press release.

The burglaries occurred between April 30 and May 5. The sheriff's office received a report of the burglary at the Naperville distribution center on May 6.

While investigating, police said they learned of a similar burglary that occurred in Villa Park.

"Sheriff’s Detectives along with Detectives from the Villa Park Police Department investigated leads that led to the recovered multiple iPads, iPhones and Toughbook Computers that were taken from the DuPage locations," according to the news release. "Detectives discovered additional proceeds from multiple AT&T distribution centers in other jurisdictions and additional charges maybe possible."
