Someone stole a wallet, cash and sunglasses, totaling $230 in value, from an unlocked Hyundai parked in the 2100 block of Aberdeen Court between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Gas Siphoned From Car

Someone siphoned about five gallons of gas from a blue 2005 Ford Escape in the 1900 block of Willow Avenue between 11:45 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

Jewelry Stolen

Someone stole $900 in jewelry and other personal items from a home in the 100 block of Kensington Circle between 8:30 and 11:30 p.m.

Cell Phone Stolen From Locker Room

Someone stole a $200 cell phone from the boys locker room at Wheaton Warrenville South High School between 2:30 and 4 p.m.

Residents Report 6 Car Break-ins

Wheaton residents reported six car break-ins in the 500-800 blocks of Gary Avenue between 11 p.m. Oct. 24 and 5 a.m. Oct. 25. Police said the residents found the items stolen from their unlocked cars in the area, except for $140 cash. 

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 24

Window Broken

Someone broke a window at a house in the 1700 block of Plymouth Court in Wheaton between 8:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. The cost of damage is $500, police said.

Wallet Stolen in Grocery Store

Someone stole a wallet, $100 cash and personal items from a woman’s purse while she was shopping at Ultra Foods in the 500 block of County Farm Road between 11 and 11:30 a.m.

TUESDAY, OCT. 23

Guitar Stolen From Apartment

Someone stole a guitar and its case from an apartment in the 1100 block of Roosevelt Road between Oct. 10 and Oct. 23. The cost of the guitar and case totals $530, police said.

Construction Equipment Damage

Someone shattered a window of a Bobcat Compact Excavator parked in the 200 block of Front Street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

$1,000 in Tools Stolen

Someone stole $1,000 in tools from a Honda parked in the 1000 block of Lorraine Road between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 9:45 p.m. Oct. 23.
