Car Door Scratched

Someone scratched a door of a 2004 Honda Element parked in a parking garage at 220 S. Cross St. in downtown Wheaton between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Recycling Bin Damaged

A resident in the 200 block of Kellogg Place reported someone damaged her recycling bin between 10 p.m. Dec. 1 and 9 a.m. Dec. 2. Police said the bin looked as if it was placed on the train tracks and hit by a train. The cost of damage is $75.

Car Vandalized

Wheaton College Public Safety reported someone scratched the paint of a 2010 Ford F-150, poured Vaseline on the windshield and tried to glue the door shut around 2 a.m. in the 900 block of College Avenue.

Inflatable Christmas Decoration, Lights Stolen

Someone stole Christmas lights and a five-foot inflatable Christmas decoration from the front yard of a home in the 400 block of Williston Drive between midnight and 6 a.m.

$255 Stolen From Purse

Someone stole $255 from an unattended purse at a business in the 200 block of West Wesley Street around 3:30 p.m.

THURSDAY, NOV. 29

Christmas Lights Cut

Someone cut the wires of Christmas lights at a home in the 100 block of Christina Circle between noon and 9 p.m. The cost of damage is $100.
