Guilty Plea in Child Porn Case

Willowbrook man, charged in Wheaton, will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

A Willowbrook man will have to register as a sex offender for life after he pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of child pornography, according to court records.

John Cichon, 21, was in late December after an undercover investigation by Wheaton police and indicted on six counts of child pornography.

In a deal with prosecutors, Cichon admitted to possessing pornography depicting a child under the age of 13 involved in a sex act. DuPage County prosecutors dropped five others counts against him in the plea agreement.
