Guilty Plea Expected in 1976 Wheaton Murder

Michael Whitney is arraigned for 1976 murder of Darlene Stack, Chicago Tribune reports.

The Chicago Tribune reported Monday that prison inmate Michael Whitney is expected to plead guilty to the 1976 murder of Darlene Stack in a Wheaton boarding house.

Whitney, 58, formally entered a not guilty plea at his arraignment in DuPage County court Monday in order to give lawyers time to determine the details of a guilty plea deal.
