Glen Ellyn Man Arrested With Child Pornography

A Glen Ellyn man was arrested late Wednesday afternoon on four counts of possession of child pornography, the DuPage County Sheriff's Department announced.

 Daniel A. Zito, 24, of the 2 N 400 block of Prairie Ave., in Glen Ellyn was arrested late yesterday afternoon and charged with four, class two Felonies of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography.

The investigation was conducted by the Sheriff's Deparment's Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division (SPEED) and the Elmhurst police department. A search warrant was executed at his residence and 2 computers were seized. Detectives conducted a complete forensic examination of both computers and results of that search, revealed several movies of child pornography. A warrant was issued for Zito’s arrest and he was taken into custody yesterday without incident.

Zito is currently being held in the DuPage County Jail and will be in bond court this morning at 8 a.m.
