Former Wheaton Professor Completes Psychosexual Evaluation for Child Porn Case

Former Wheaton College professor Donald Ratcliff has complied with the GPS monitoring and other requirements of his release from DuPage County Jail, his attorney says.

Following child pornography charges, former Wheaton College professor Donald Ratcliff has finished a psychosexual evaluation and complied with the rules of his release from DuPage County Jail, prohibiting contact with minors, the Internet and smart phones, his attorney told DuPage County Judge John Kinsella Wednesday morning.

Ratcliff, 61, appeared for a hearing in DuPage County court Wednesday morning, where his attorney Dan Collins said Ratcliff has completed the evaluation and is now "in treatment." The results of the evaluation were not disclosed.

Ratcliff pleaded not guilty to seven counts of aggravated possession of child pornography and three weapons-related charges March 29.

Carol Stream police arrested Ratcliff March 1 after investigators tracked pornography downloads to Ratcliff's computer and recovered five computer hard drives and hundreds of DVDs that included images and videos of child rape, fondling and sexually suggestive dancing by girls as young as preschool age, according to prosecutors.

According to a , the college terminated his employment March 14.

Ratcliff will return to court Tuesday, June 12 for a status hearing in front of Judge Kinsella.
