Fire Destroys Warrenville Home

Warrenville police are investigating a fire to a home Saturday morning.

A man has suffered third-degree burns on 40 percent of his body, and a two-story home in Warrenville is completely destroyed after a fire early Saturday morning, the Daily Herald reports.

The home at the corner of Forest View Drive and Curtis Avenue was "fully engulfed" in flames, according to a release from the Warrenville Police Department.

One man was badly burned and airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. The remaining four residents of the home were not injured, according to the release.
