Felony Obstruction, Underage Drinking, Drugs: Police Blotter

Wheaton police reports, Jan. 21-31

THURSDAY, JAN. 31

Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia

Police issued local ordinance citations related to marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia to Nicholas Rust, 28, of Chicago. He is also charged with driving on a suspended license. He drove a white 2006 Lincoln Zephyr near the intersection of Forest Avenue and Scott Street around 9:40 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Cell Phone Stolen

Someone stole a $150 cell phone from a community room in the 2100 block of West Roosevelt Road between Jan. 25 and Jan. 30.

Marijuana

Police charged Justin Hirschberg, 22, of Aurora with marijuana possession. He was arrested in the 100 block of County Farm Road around 5:45 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

TUESDAY, JAN. 29

Suspended License

  • Police charged Timothy Zultanski, 24, of Lisle with driving on a suspended license. He drove a green Oldsmobile in the first block of East Loop Road around 2 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.
  • Police charged Harli Kral, 19, of Glen Ellyn with driving on a suspended license. He drove a white 2003 Ford Taurus near the intersection of Blanchard Street and Briarcliffe Boulevard around 1:20 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Felony Obstructing Justice, Underage Drinking, Drugs

Police charged Timothy Hollins, 35, of Warrenville with felony obstructing justice and obstructing an officer, and Jeremy Gonzalez, 18, of Glen Ellyn with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking. They were arrested near the intersection of Evergreen Street and Lorraine Road around 1:30 a.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

FRIDAY, JAN. 25

Drug Paraphernalia

Police charged Philip Dukleth, 22, of Glen Ellyn, Joshua Hansel, 22, of the 1700 block of Ashton Court in Wheaton and John McGinnis, 22, of Glen Ellyn with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were all arrested near the intersection of Butterfield and Orchard roads in Wheaton around 11:40 p.m. and released on the scene.

THURSDAY, JAN. 24

Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia

Police issued local ordinance citations of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia to Ivan Huerta, 19, of the 900 block of Community Drive in Wheaton. He was arrested near the intersection of Elm Street and Lorraine Road around 1:30 a.m. and released on the scene. 

MONDAY, JAN. 21

Marijuana

Police issued a local ordinance citation of marijuana possession to Scott Wiedmeyer, 21, of Glen Ellyn and possession of drug paraphernalia to Joshua Potokar, 21, of the south 500 block of Arrowhead Drive in Wheaton. They were cited in the 1600 block of South Prospect Street around 4:40 p.m. and released on the scene.
