Ex-Inmate Indicted for Stealing from Prisoner Funds

A former inmate has been indicted this week for allegedly stealing about $4,500 from the DuPage County Special Inmate Fund, Chicago Breaking News reports.

The DuPage County Grand Jury indicted Shaun Smith, 21, of Gilman, IL, who has been convicted of six financial crimes in four counties for stealing from funds set up for prisoners in the DuPage County Jail.
