DuPage DUI Arrests, Nov. 18

BURR RIDGE

Nov. 4:

  • Richard L. Mortensen, 24, of the 3900 block of Pratt Street, Plano, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for erratic driving on Interstate 55 near Madison Street at 1:56 a.m., and failed an ensuing breath test, police said. Mortensen was charged with DUI and improper lane usage. Police said he was released to appear in court. 
  • Jermaine West, 39, of the 1100 block of Alann Drive, Joliet, was charged with DUI after he was found asleep behind the wheel in the in the 15W100 block of South Frontage Road at 12:18 a.m. and failed an ensuing breath test, police said. Police said West's car was running while stopped in the roadway when officers came upon him. There were open beer bottles in the car, police said. West was charged with DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was released to appear in court.

DOWNERS GROVE

Nov. 13: Michael T. Kalisz, 34, of the 2100 block of Finley Road in Lombard, was arrested around 2:35 a.m. near Interstate 88 and Highland Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a traffic control device and failure to signal. He was issued a Dec. 19 court date.

Nov. 8: Robert T. Marsh, of the 5100 block of Blodgett in Downers Grove, was arrested around 10:50 a.m. in the 5100 block of Blodgett, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal turning, speeding and no insurance. He was issued a Dec. 12 court date.

Nov. 6: Michele J. Durkovic, 39, of Downers Grove, was arrested around 7:44 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Main Street, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was issued a Dec. 5 court date.
