BURR RIDGE

March 11: Lindsay Krantz, 28, of the 1000 block of Woodview Court in Aurora, was arrested around 9:23 p.m. near the intersection of South Frontage Road and Grant, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

March 9: Andrzej Mrozek, 54, of the 1200 block of Arbor Drive in Lemont, was arrested around 2:36 a.m. near Route 83 and Interstate 55, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

March 7: Donald Donaldson, 58, of the 5400 block of West 64th Street in Chicago, was arrested around 1:36 a.m. near the intersection of 77th and Forest Hill, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

March 5: Kathleen Kirkpatrick, 54, of the 2200 block of Wharf Drive, Woodridge, was arrested and charged with DUI as well as disobeying a police officer at North Frontage Road and Captons Lane. Kirkpatrick was given a court date of April 9 at the DuPage County Judicial Center in Wheaton.

DOWNERS GROVE

March 10: Benjamin T. Gross, of the 1800 block of Michigan Avenue, Naperville, was arrested at 3:43 a.m. on Main Street at 39th Street. Gross was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, unlawful possession of drug equipment, unlawful possession of cannabis and improper lane usage. His silver Toyota Camry was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has an April 10 court date in Wheaton.

March 9: David B. Howat, of the 1100 block of South Scoville Avenue, Oak Park, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Curtiss Street and Mochel Drive. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, disobeying a stop sign and improper lane usage on a one-way street. His green Jeep Cherokee was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has an April 10 court date.

March 8: Brian D. Okeefe, of the 500 block of Redondo Drive, Downers Grove, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. on the 1300 block of 75th Street. He was charged with aggravated DUI, aggravated driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper right turn. His silver/tan Toyota Camry was towed from the scene to an impound lot. Okeefe was transported to the DuPage County jail, where he still remains on $8,000 bond as of March 17, according to jail records. He is expected to be in court on the charges on March 28, according to court records. Okeefe was also charged with driving under the influence on Feb. 24 in Darien.

March 2: Danielle E. Kolar, of the 24100 block of Hampshire Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. on Route 56 at I-355. Kolar was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08 and driving without headlights when required. Her silver Honda Odyssey was towed from the scene to an impound lot. She was released on I-bond and has an April 10 court date in Wheaton.

ELMHURST

March 18: Jacob Zwahlen, 24, 285 Polo Club Drive, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his red Honda Accord for disobeying a traffic control device at Addison and North at 12:51 a.m. He was released on bond.

March 17:

  • Rino Romero, 26, 1271B Pleasant Ave., Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his green Toyota Camry for improper lane use and expired drivers license at North and Oaklawn at 2:35 a.m. He was released on bond.
  • Nigel Jackson, 24, 602 Plymouth Court, Oswego, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his white Nissan Altima for disobeying a traffic control device and expired registration at York and Schiller at 1:42 a.m. He was released on bond.
  • Michael Damore, 48, 286 Poplar Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving without insurance and endangering the life of child after police pulled over his Ford F150 for failure to yield and improper lane use at Spring and Wilson at 1:32 a.m. Police said he had two children in the car. He was released on bond.
  • Daniel Flores, 34, 724 Junior Terrace, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his black Volkswagen Rabbit for speeding at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 12:09 a.m. He was released on bond.

March 16:

  • Adam Grow, 21, 1136 Mare Barn Lane, Addison, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his Lincoln LS for improper lane use at York and Vallette at 3:54 a.m. He refused to be processed and was taken to DuPage County Jail.
  • Shawn Chansy, 27, 457 N. Hillside Ave. Apt. 7, Hillside, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving without insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol after police pulled over his gold Buick Century for failure to signal at North Avenue and Interstate 290 at 2:30 a.m. He was released on bond.
  • Randy Shears, 27, 1937 S. 17th Ave., Broadway, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his green Dodge Caravan for speeding at York and Grand at 2:07 a.m. He was released on bond.

March 15:

  • Tiffany Steele, 22, 17304 Grange, Orland Park, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over her Dodge Charger for disobeying a traffic control device at Addison and North at 1 a.m. She was released on bond.
  • Kevin Hemingway, 33, 1924 S. 17th, Maywood, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Cadillac for no registration at St. Charles and Fellows Court at 12:10 a.m. He was released on bond.

GLEN ELLYN

March 13: Karen A. Temelkoff, 49, of the 500 block of Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 11:57 p.m. with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and speeding at Roosevelt and Lambert roads.

HINSDALE

March 17: Hesham El Defrawy, 48, of the 200 block of West 59th Street, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC greater than .08, driving while license suspended and improper lane use. Police stopped El Defrawy at 3:03 a.m. on the 5600 block of South Madison Street for improper lane use when he was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. He submitted a breath sample with a BAC over .08, was charged and released to appear in court.

March 16:

  • Emmanuel A. Salazar, 26, of the first block of Palmer Court, Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI, possession of cannabis, speeding and driving too fast for conditions. Police stopped Salazar at 2:46 a.m. at the intersection of Route 83 and Ogden Avenue for speeding when he was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. Salazar refused to give a breath sample. He was found to be in possession of a green leafy substance that field tested positive for cannabis. He was charged and released to appear in court.
  • Mary A. Hornik, 27, of the 4600 block of South Harding Avenue, Chicago, was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC .08 or more and speeding. Police stopped Hornik at 2:04 a.m. at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Elm Street for speeding when she was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. She submitted a breath sample with a BAC over .08, was charged and released to appear in court.

LISLE

March 19: Police said Richard J. Nendza, 40, of the 4900 block of Main Street, drove a vehicle that almost struck a squad car at about 10:38 p.m. The vehicle then continued north on Main Street from Route 53 at a high rate of speed.

The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and met with Nendza in the 4900 block of Main Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, battery (to a police officer) and resisting a police officer. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Nenzda was transported to the Lisle Police Department where he was processed according to policy. An initial April 23 court date was set and Nenzda was released on bond pending a court hearing.

WHEATON

March 18: Police charged Kristine Bambule, 35, of Chicago with driving under the influence of alcohol. She drove a gray 2008 Nissan Altima near the intersection of Harrison Street and Wheaton Avenue around 12:45 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

March 17:

  • Police charged Sandra Adams, 43, of the 1400 block of Woodcutter Lane in Wheaton with driving under the influence of alcohol. She drove a white 1997 Toyota Camry near the intersection of Ellis and Union avenues around 2:20 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
  • Police charged Eduardo Lopez, 28, of Chicago with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a black 1998 Toyota 4Runner near the intersection of Dawes Drive and Naperville Road around 2:15 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
  • Police charged James Hartmann, 47, of Brookfield with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a silver 2008 Dodge Ram near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Briarcliffe Boulevard around 2 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

March 15: Police charged Michelle Cleary, 35, of Warrenville with driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested near the intersection of Roosevelt and Schaffner roads around 4 p.m., booked at the police department and released later that day.

March 11: Police charged James C. Dostal, 53, of the 1200 block of Brentwood Lane, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Dostal was driving a maroon or burgundy 2010 Subaru station wagon near the intersection of Blanchard Street and Willow Avenue at 5:54 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

WOODRIDGE

March 12: Andrew Labuszewski, 23, of the 6600 block of Double Eagle Drive, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 12:54 a.m. following a traffic stop on Seven Bridges Drive at Main Street. At the same time and location, Curtis Cesal, 21, of the 1100 block of Longwood Drive, Lisle, was charged with obstructing/resisting a peace officer.

March 6: Luis Figueroa Rivera, 43, of the 7500 block of Orchard Lane, Woodridge, was charged at about 2:54 p.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 7500 block of Orchard.
