DuPage DUI Arrests, March 3

DARIEN

Feb. 6: Paul Teresi, 20, of the 7100 block of Richmond Avenue, Darien, was charged with DUI, police said, after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a 1:07 a.m. speeding stop near the intersection of 75th Street and Cass Avenue, and failed an ensuing field sobriety test. Teresi was charged with DUI and speeding, and was released to appear in court.

DOWNERS GROVE

Feb 24: James M. Foster, 30, of Chino Hills, CA, was arrested around 12:25 a.m. near 39th Street and Highland Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was issued a March 27 court date.

Feb. 23:

• Glenn E. Beamon, of the 900 block of Warren Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 12:29 a.m. in the 4000 block of Fairview Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was issued a March 20 court date.

• Brandie A. Allen, 39, of the 4800 block of Oakwood Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 3:07 a.m. near Forest and Warren avenues, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol,  improper lane usage and improper lighting. She was issued a March 27 court date.

• Lauren T. Walsh, 21, of the 3100 block of Charles Street in Melrose Park, was arrested around 3:17 a.m. near Lemont and Dunham roads, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawful possession of cannabis, illegal transportation of alcohol, no valid driver's license and failure to reduce speed. She was issued a March 27 court date.

GLEN ELLYN

Feb. 24:

• Ingrid S. Cruz, 50, of the 6200 block of Chase Avenue, Downers Grove, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. at Main Street and Wilson Avenue, Glen Ellyn police said. She was charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving under the influence.
• Michael J. Waters, 29, of the 3S200 block of Cypress, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. at Arbor Lane and Arboretum Road, police said. He was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, driving and uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, improper lane use and driving under the influence.

Feb. 20: Police said Aleksandra Babic, 28, of the 5S600 block of Buttonwood Court, Naperville, was arrested at 12:07 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Pershing Avenue. She was charged with speeding, driving under the influence and improper lane use.

HINSDALE

Feb. 24: Leon Francisco, 45, of the 2900 block of Willow Street, Franklin Park, was charged with DUI, police said, after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a 2:13 a.m. traffic stop in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, and refused an ensuing breath test. Francisco was charged with DUI, improper lane use and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released to appear in court.

LISLE

Feb. 25: Daniel S. Adams, 25, 215 Steamboat Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:46 a.m. at Route 53 and Short Street, police said.

Feb. 23: Brett E. Haas, 23, 415 Regency Court, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:19 a.m. in the 3200 block of Ogden Avenue, Lisle police said.

WHEATON

Feb 24: Police charged Christopher Schuler, 50, of Countryside with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a red 2002 GMC Yukon near the intersection of Butterfield and Naperville roads around midnight when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Feb. 23:

• Police charged Spiridon Mitsos, 32, of Des Plaines with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license. He drove a black 1994 Ford Mustang near the intersection of Schmale Road and Thornhill Street around 12:45 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
• Police charged Kenneth McMillen, 33, of Glen Ellyn with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a black 2011 Chevy Silverado near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Scottdale Drive around 12:30 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Feb. 17:

• Police charged Steven Marks, 26, of Lisle with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a black 2007 Pontiac G6 near the intersection of Butterfield and East Loop roads around 1:30 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
• Police charged Lenny Sales, 54, of Carol Stream with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a black 2012 VW CC near the intersection of Gary Avenue and Geneva Road around 1 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Feb. 16: Police charged Janel Haggerty, 26, of Aurora with driving under the influence of alcohol and John Macpartland, 28, of Rochelle, with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Haggerty drove a white 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Cromwell Drive around 2 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Feb. 15:

• Police charged Jennifer Anderson, 33, of Naperville with driving under the influence of alcohol. She drove a white 2009 Mercedes C300 near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Woodlawn Drive around 10:40 p.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.
• Police charged Joseph Manz, 31, of the 1500 block of Timber Trails Court in Wheaton with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of hypodermic syringes/needles and driving without a license. He was arrested at his home around 4:30 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

WOODRIDGE

Feb. 17: Erik Christensen, 40, of the 19000 block of Goodwin in Wilmington, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, stopping where prohibited, leaving a vehicle unattended and driving without insurance. Police saw a suspicious, abandoned vehicle near Lemont Road and 103rd at 1:38 a.m.
