DuPage DUI Arrests, Jan. 20

DARIEN

Dec. 18: Christopher Ullrich, 18, of the 7100 block of Matthias Road in Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal consumption by a minor and driving without insurance. 

At 4:14 a.m., Darien police investigated a suspicious car that was parked at a gas pump at the Speedway gas station in the 8300 block of Lemont Road in Darien. Ullrich was in the car and failed field sobriety tests, police said. He was arrested and given a court date.

DOWNERS GROVE

Jan. 14: Kukas L. Caikauska, 22, of the 0-50 block of Winthrop Court in Downers Grove, was arrested around 2:10 a.m. near Main Street and Claremont Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to signal. He was issued a Feb. 20 court.

Jan. 12: Justin A. Levy, 28, of the 1100 block of Cantor Village in Darien, was arrested around 7:26 p.m. near 75th Street and Lemont Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. He was issued a Feb. 20 court date.

ELMHURST

Jan. 15: Lisa Lofendo, 43, 268 Niagara, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering the life of a child and illegal transportation of alcohol after she was stopped at 11:13 p.m. Police said the arrest followed a domestic disturbance on the 400 block of North Walnut. She reportedly admitted to drinking "before and while driving her 9-year-old son," according to the police report. She was released on bond.

Jan. 14: Theodore J. Zasczcurynski, 27, 8537 Pine St., Orland Park, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his gray Dodge Stratus for disobeying a stop sign and improper lane use at First and York at 1:08 a.m. He was released on bond.

Jan. 13: James Lindberg, 21, 1S501 Marshall Road, Oakbrook Terrace, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his black Ford Mustang for no headlights and improper lane use at York and Palmer Drive at 1:53 a.m. He was released on I-bond.

Jan. 12: Joseph Claudio, 20, 1426 Park Ave., River Forest, was arrested and charged with zero-tolerance driving under the influence of alcohol after police found his tan Lexus GS 300 stuck on a median at North Avenue and Interstate 290 at 2:51 a.m. He also was charged with texting while driving, improper lane use and driving without insurance. A passenger in the vehicle was taken into custody, then released without charges pending lab results.

GLEN ELLYN

Jan. 12:

• Brandy N. Harper, 30, of the 1300 block of East College Avenue, was arrested at 1:33 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Surrey Drive, Glen Ellyn Police said. She was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use.

• Police said Jennifer M. Lunz, 30, of the 103000 block of South St. Louis St., Chicago, was arrested at 11:27 p.m. at Main Street and Hillside Avenue. She was charged with disobeying a stop sign and driving under the influence.

Jan. 10: Kyle A. Thompson, 26, of the 300 block of Spruce Lane, was arrested at 5:39 p.m. at Park and Fawell boulevards, police said. He was charged with driving too fast for conditions and driving under the influence.

Jan. 8: Nicole M. Sedlacek, 21, of the 100 block of South Michigan, Villa Park, was arrested at 2:49 a.m. at Grove Avenue and Route 53, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, failing to signal and making an improper turn at an intersection.

Jan. 6: Vladimir Popov, 18, of the 100 block of South Milton Avenue, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. at Pershing Avenue and Nicoll Way, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage.

HINSDALE

Jan. 13: Alfred Milano, 27, of the 300 block of West 55th Street, Clarendon Hills, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a speeding stop near the intersection of Western Avenue and 56th Street at 1:27 a.m., and failed an ensuing breath test, police said. He was released to appear in court.

Jan. 11: Siobhan Lawler, 22, of the 300 block of Hampton Place, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI after she struck an occupied parked vehicle in the 200 block of East Walnut Street at 9:29 p.m., police said. A responding officer said she was under the influence of alcohol and failed an ensuing breath test.

The occupant of the struck vehicle was transported to Adventist Hinsdale Hospital with minor injuries. In addition to DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, Lawler was charged with unlawful use of electronic communication device after police said she was texting while driving before the accident. She was released to appear in court.

LISLE

Jan. 13: Quintin L. Foster, 42, 9134 N. Lincoln Drive, Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:40 a.m. at Ogden Avenue and Beau Bien Boulevard, Lisle police said.

Jan. 4: Kelsey A. Wall, 21, of 144 Erin Court in Lemont, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:16 a.m. in the 5400 block of Cascade Drive, police said.

WHEATON

Jan. 13:

• Police charged Kristen Janfrancisco, 40, of Bolingbrook with driving under the influence of alcohol and Steven Thomas, 41, of the 1500 block of Orth Drive in Wheaton with obstructing an officer. Janfrancisco drove a blue 2008 Toyota Prius near Thomas’ home around 2:30 a.m. when police stopped her. They were booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

• Police charged David Santini, 50, of Chicago with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a green 1997 Ford Taurus near the intersection of Naperville and Roosevelt roads around 1 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Jan. 12: Police charged Kevin Beirne, 30, of Lombard with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a white 2004 Chevy Cavalier near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Raider Lane around 1:20 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Jan. 10: Police charged Stavros Siounis, 29, of Lombard with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a black 2010 Jeep Wrangler near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and President Street around 1:30 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
