DuPage DUI Arrests, Feb. 3

DOWNERS GROVE

Jan. 15: Robert T. Waters, 22, of the 6700 block of Maple Drive in Westmont, was arrested around 12:42 a.m. in the 6300 block of Main Street, police said. He was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, speeding, failure to signal when required and driving on a suspended license. He was issued a Feb. 13 court date in Wheaton.

Jan. 30: Earl Gist, 55, of 2427 W. Lindale, Chicago, was arrested and charged under state charges with possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:57 a.m.

Police reportedly found him sleeping behind the wheel of his vehicle at Route 83 and North Avenue. Police said he had two baggies of cocaine and two ecstasy pills in his possession. He also was charged with improper parking on the roadway. He was taken to DuPage County Jail on $2,000 bond. His next court date is March 4, according to the DuPage County Clerk's Office.

Jan 27:

  • Michael J. Banks, 27, 816 S. Bryan, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his green Cadillac CTS for speeding at Mitchell and Crescent at 4:09 a.m. He was released on bond.
  • Sergio Herrera, 44, 117 E. Crest, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI after he was seen pulling his black Chevrolet Cavalier into the parking lot of a closed business at 647 N. York at 1:23 a.m. He was released on I-bond.

Jan. 26:

  • Stephen Vega, 53, 639 W. Ridge, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his red Toyota Celica for improper lane use at St. Charles and Route 83 at 1:20 a.m. He was released on I-bond.
  • Jonathan Campos, 26, 170 S. Lincoln Apt. 1F, Addison, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled over his white Cadillac Escalade for speeding and improper lane use at Addison and North Avenue at 1:10 a.m. Police discovered he was driving with a revoked license. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Jan. 25: Patrick Gibbons, 28, 421 E. Church St., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his black Cadillac STS for failure to signal at Second and Addison streets at 12:55 a.m. He was released on bond.

LISLE

Jan. 27: Ramy I. Daoud, 25, 1809 Ridgemoor Drive, Plainfield, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:20 a.m. at Route 53 and Burlington Avenue, police said.

Jan. 26: Marty L. Wilson, 48, 24 W 441 Wellington, Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 6:40 p.m. at Ogden and Yender avenues, Lisle police said.

WHEATON

Jan. 27: Police charged Richard Sawyer, 37, of South Elgin with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a white 2005 Pontiac Vibe near the intersection of Geneva Road and Main Street around 3 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Jan. 26: Police charged Danielle Justo, 28, of Naperville with driving under the influence of alcohol. She drove a silver 2008 Mazda CX-5 near the intersection of Manchester Road and Erie Avenue around 2:25 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Jan. 25:  Police charged Jason Germain, 29, of the west 0-100 block of Armbrust Avenue in Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a blue 2000 Toyota Corolla near the intersection of Gary Avenue and Geneva Road around midnight when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Jan. 20:  Police charged Cory Woodward, 24, of Gilberts, with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police also issued local ordinance citations to Chase Glander, 26, of Palatine for marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Woodward drove a black 2006 Cadillac DST near the intersection of Bloomingdale and Geneva roads around 6 p.m. when police stopped him. They were booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

WOODRIDGE

Jan. 24: Mark Lyon, 35, of the 100 block of Thackeray in Bolingbrook was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failure to signal following a traffic stop at 8:24 p.m. in the 7800 block of Route 53.

A passenger in the car, Roger Ierardi, 45, of the 300 block of Hanover Drive in Bolingbrook, was charged with possession of cannabis.
