BURR RIDGE

March 20: Joseph M. Bergland, 19, of the 5800 block of South Garfield Avenue, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI, police said, after a 12:40 a.m. traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and Longwood Drive. He was released to appear in court.

March 25: Randall Hultmark, 43, of the 100 block of Iris Road, Darien, was arrested at 1:33 a.m. on the 700 block of Plainfield Road. Hultmark was charged with driving under the influence, failure to signal when required and improper lane usage. He was processed and released with an April 30 court date in Wheaton.

  • Paulo Loredo, 40, of the 300 block of Hummingbird Lane, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. near I-55 and Lemont Road. Loredo was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage. He was processed and released with an April 23 court date in Wheaton.
  • Romualdas Valanius, 51, of the 200 block of Bailey Road, Naperville, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. on the 1400 block of Plainfield Road. Valanius was charged with driving under the influence and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was processed and released with an April 30 court date in Wheaton.

DOWNERS GROVE

March 27: Michael D. Valicento, 31, of the 100 block of Roberts, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. at Butterfield Road and Downers Drive. Valicento was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 and improper lane usage. His black Nissan Juke was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a May 8 court date in Wheaton.

March 25: Brian D. Reeves, 46, of the 5900 block of Sherman Avenue, Downers Grove, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. at 63rd Street and Woodward Avenue. Reeves was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level greater than .08, speeding and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver. His silver Saturn Lw300 was towed from the scene to an impound lot. Reeves was released on I-bond and has an April 24 court date in Wheaton.

March 24:

  • Brenda S. Tillman, 23, of the 3700 block of Indianhead Lane, Joliet, was arrested at 3:44 a.m. on the 1600 block of Ogden Avenue. Tillman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level greater than .08, improper lane usage and two counts of illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger. Her gray Nissan Altima was towed from the scene to an impound lot. Tillman was released on I-bond and has an April 24 court date in Wheaton.
  • David Barbosa, 20, of the 1600 block of Prairieview Boulevard, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. at Butterfield Road and I-355. Barbosa was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level greater than .08, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured vehicle. His black Chevy Impala was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a May 1 court date in Wheaton.

March 22: Patrick J. O'connor, 24, of the 600 block of Maple Avenue, Downers Grove, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. on the 5100 block of Fairview. O'connor was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting a peace officer, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol. His blue Hyundai Xg3501 was towed from the scene to an impound lot. O'connor was released after posting $100 and his driver's license as bond. He has a May 1 court date in Wheaton.

March 17: Elizabeth I. Flippo, 24, of the 300 block of West Harding Road, Lombard, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. at Downers and Brook drives. Flippo was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device and driving an uninsured vehicle. Her gray Toyota Camry was towed from the scene to an impound lot. She was released on I-bond and has an April 17 court date in Wheaton.

ELMHURST

April 3: William Safian, 40, of the 800 block of Hillside, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Nissan Altima for disobeying a stop sign, failure to signal and improper lane use at St. Charles and Spring roads at 11:40 p.m. He was released on bond.

April 2: Krystal Berndy, 27, of the 19200 block of Janet, Lockport, was arrested and charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without insurance after her Chevy S10 truck was involved in an accident at 7:04 p.m. Police said she fled the scene and was later found at 1200 S. York Road. She was released on bond.

April 1: Santiago Salazar, 57, of the 1500 block of North 17th Avenue, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after the green Toyota Corolla he was driving crashed into a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old Elmhurst woman at North Avenue and Myrtle at 6:21 p.m. April 1. He also was cited for failure to report a crash, disobeying a traffic control device and driving without insurance. He was released on bond.

March 31: Aundre Green, 25, of the 500 block of Frederick Avenue, Bellwood, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his blue Buick Park Avenue for improper lane use at York and Madison at 1:02 a.m. He was released on bond.

March 30:

  • Jenifer Ford, 27, of the 300 block of South Central, Wood Dale, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over her silver Hyundai Tuscon for improper lane use at St. Charles and Spring roads at 2:11 a.m. She was released on bond.
  • Maurice Hamilton, 44, of the 1300 block of Almaden Lane, Gurnee, was arrested and charged with DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol after police pulled over his black GMC Acadia for improper turn at Melrose and Willow at 1:29 a.m. He was released on bond.

March 29: Jessie Alba, 47, of the 200 South Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale, was arrested and charged with DUI after police responded to a call for a reckless driver at Arthur and Church streets in Bensenville at 9:59 p.m. March 29. He was released on bond.

LEMONT

March 30: Alayna Hale, 20, of the 7330 block of Oakdale Avenue, Hammond, Ind., was arrested at 4:27 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 12100 block of Archer Avenue. Hale was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, driving while license suspended, no insurance and disobeying a traffic control device. She was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

March 27: Giedrius Indrusaitis, 36, of the 12900 block of Archer Avenue, Lemont, was arrested at 7:51 a.m. following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Marian Drive. Indrusaitis was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid or information, speeding and improper turn. He was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

March 22: Josephine Castellanos, 25, of the 100 block of West 7th Street, Lockport, was arrested at 3:13 a.m. following a traffic stop at New Avenue and I-355. Castellanos was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance and improper lane usage. She appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

March 18: Jolanta Zubrzycka, 25, of the 7700 block of Mobile Street, Burbank, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 13300 block of Archer Avenue. Zubrzycka was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. She was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

WHEATON

March 26: Police charged Laura L. Mauricio, 40, of the 700 block of Kensington Road, Glen Ellyn, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Mauricio was driving a red 1998 Ford Windstar at about 12:37 a.m. near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Cromwell Drive when police initiated a traffic stop. Mauricio was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
