Chicago Man Reports Stolen Cigarettes From Wheaton Apartment Complex

A Chicago man reported that between 7 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, Oct. 12, an unknown person(s) entered his car, parked at the Briarbrook apartment complex in Wheaton and stole a pack of cigarettes.

A Chicago man reported a theft from his car at the Briarbrook apartment complex, 1147 Briarbrook Dr., Wheaton, between 7 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, Oct. 12. According to the police report, the man said that he parked his unsecured green 1996 Pontiac outside of the apartment complex and when he returned, he observed that his personal papers and belongings were strewn about and the inside of the car appeared to have been searched. The only thing of value was a pack of cigarettes, which was stolen, the report said.
