Arson Reported in Restroom of Wheaton Church

Paper towel bin, dispenser set ablaze, as was toilet paper, report states.

Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Road, reported at 10:31 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, that someone started a fire in a wall-mounted trash bin in the men’s restroom off the church’s main entrance between 8 and 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013.


According to the report, the fire spread to the paper towels holder immediately above the trash bin. Toilet paper in a multi-roll dispenser in one of the stalls also had been ignited, the report states. No further damage was reported.
