Two Glen Ellyn men and a Lombard man are facing Class X felony charges after they were arrested and charged in a home invasion in unincorporated Villa Park early Sunday morning.

The men were identified and arrested shortly after a 911 call was made to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff John E. Zaruba said Monday morning.

Andrew Cotton, who turns 24 Tuesday, of the 300 block of Scott Avenue, Ryan Berry, 24, of the 300 block of Scott Avenue and Anthony Nutoni, 24, of the 600 block of Edgewood Street, Lombard, were all charged with two counts of home invasion while armed, which is a Class X felony.

Sheriff John E. Zaruba said in a news release that early Sunday morning the men forced their way into a home in unincorporated Villa Park and after a physical altercation, fled the residence. After a brief investigation, Sheriff’s detectives identified and arrested the men.

Cotton is being treated for injuries he received during the incident. Berry and Nutoni were scheduled to be in bond court Monday morning. Nutoni’s bond was listed at $25,000 and Berry’s bond was listed at $50,000, according to the Sherriff’s Office.

@PeanutGallary: I will assume you are close friends with these three, and possibly four, but why are you trying to lighten what they all did? They broke into a house with weapons intending to cause harm to a person yet you are coddling the situation because of your relationship with the criminals. They attempted murder and did a home invasion plain and simple. They will go to jail for a long time regardless of their criminal records. Pawlina albeit the mastermind behind this did not break into the house or commit the crime Sunday morning. Did he plan it? Yes, but was he there? No.

How can he be charged with home invasion if he wasn't there? Perhaps if he had illegally acquired keys to the house and gave them to someone in order to break in and steal property, but planning something like this? And not being there? Odd.

He wasn't there but he should be charged with conspiracy of the whole thing, and @DuPageRepublician you are actually incorrect about your statement, they didn't have attempted murder one, and two I am not lightening any situation at all, I am stating the obvious. Pawlina can be charged with home invasion based on the act he was an accessory before the fact, he is the one that convinced them, came up with the plan, and so on and so fourth.

I went to school with all 3 of them and know Pawlina quite well.... first the 3 are old enough to know what's right and wrong even if Pawlina "pressured them". And if the break-in was drug related - That's just dumb. I'm glad Cotton got his ass kicked because I know damn right if they broke into my parent's home, they'd be shot. There is no reason WHAT-SO-EVER to break into someone's home and beat up a 49 year old man. "Well there's more to the story then that" - So if that was your dad, you'd be okay with it because they had a reason to it? You're just dumb for thinking that. They were not good people in grade-school or high school, and frankly, I could see them doing something stupid like this. Actually, I'm shocked it didn't happen sooner. "Well, it was a first-time offense" - They broke into a home with weapons, and Cotton tried to attack the man, he just lost. They are 24 years old for Christ Sakes. They think they are Hard-Asses who grew up around Lombard lol. I hope they get jail time.

I know these fucking losers and that's all they all are LOSERS. Maybe andrew is depressed from losing erin murphy lol & just wanted to rebel. The bigger story?? They prob just hated dude that lived there [their son, that is] and thought ohh lets rob this mf for all his weed stash. You're so cool. I'm glad their going to get jail time!
