Wheaton police reports, Jan. 25-28

MONDAY, JAN. 28

Suspended License

Police charged Kent Beery, 48, of the 900 block of West Thomas Street in Wheaton with driving on a suspended license. He drove a red 1996 Dodge pickup near the intersection of Gary Avenue and Geneva Road around 4:20 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Suspended License

Police charged Louis Ramsey, 30, of Chicago with driving on a suspended license. He drove a silver 2002 Pontiac Aztec near the intersection of County Farm and Roosevelt roads around 9:30 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

DUI

Police charged Richard Sawyer, 37, of South Elgin with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a white 2005 Pontiac Vibe near the intersection of Geneva Road and Main Street around 3 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

SATURDAY, JAN. 26

Caps Stolen From Escalade

Someone stole the wheel caps from a 2010 Cadillac Escalade parked in a driveway in the 100 block of West Forest Avenue between 9 p.m. Jan. 26 and 7:15 a.m. Jan. 27.

Aggravated Assault, Resist, DUI Warrant

Police charged Fredrick Bailey, 22, of Maywood with aggravated assault, resisting an officer, driving on a suspended license and suspended registration and a DUI warrant. He drove a black 2000 Lincoln sedan near the intersection of Lorraine and Roosevelt roads around 7:30 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Driving Without a License

Police charged Veronica Salazar, 21, of West Chicago with driving without a license. She drove a black 2004 Ford Focus in the 2100 block of Roosevelt Road around 7:30 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

DUI

Police charged Danielle Justo, 28, of Naperville with driving under the influence of alcohol. She drove a silver 2008 Mazda CX-5 near the intersection of Manchester Road and Erie Avenue around 2:25 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

FRIDAY, JAN. 25

Package Stolen From Doorstep

Someone stole a package containing photos from a doorstep in the 700 block of Dorset Drive around 4 p.m.

Driving Without a License

Police charged Enrique Najera, 31, of Bolingbrook with driving without a license. He drove a red 2007 Chevy Cobalt near the intersection of Leask Lane and Robinwood Court around 5 p.m. when police stopped him. He was released on the scene.
