What Should Open in the Old Adelle's Restaurant Space?

In a new weekly series, Patch asks readers how they would fill empty storefronts around Wheaton.

When moved to its new location on Liberty Drive, it opened up a 4,450-square-foot space in the retail strip on College Avenue.

Now listed for lease at $4,605 a month, the restaurant-ready, 3,250-square-foot indoor space can occupy up to 80 people, a 1,200-square-foot patio that seats up to 55 people and basement storage, according to its listing.

Last week, we asked you what should open at 124 N. Hale St. Before then: the Wheaton Grand Theater building. And our first post: the JB Winterberry space.

Whether it's a new restaurant, clothing store or something completely new, we want to hear what businesses you'd most like to see take over at 1060 College Ave. in Wheaton.

I think Jeanne Ives should set up an accounting practice so she can work on the books of Milton Township so they can balance.

Jean, your comment has nothing to do with this article.

I think the time is right for a brewery/brewpub of some kind.

How about a swimming pool? Adelle's left because of the constant flooding in that lot.

That would be a cool spot for it with the patio!
