I want to thank my Congressman, Peter Roskam. He helped pass H.R. 325 (No, Budget, No Pay Act). It's time for Congress to be held to the same standards that we are. Do your job or don't get a paycheck! Hopefully this will motivate the Senate to finally pass a budget so we can get on the road to addressing our national debt.

The last time the Senate passed a budget was in April 2009. That was almost 4 years ago. Remember 2009? That was the year Michael Jackson died. Do you know anyone who owns an iPad? Well you didn't then because the iPad was not even on the market yet.

It's finally time to get a responsible budget passed and then... Stick to it.
