DuCap & Wheaton Kiwanis Holiday Party

On December 17, DuCAP and Wheaton Kiwanis teamed up to host a Holiday Party for 83 residents of Marian Park. It was an awesome event with plenty of entertainment, smiles, laughs, food, gifts and of course Santa Claus. The magician from Measner Magic Productions, Inc. was amazingly breath taking. The children enjoyed him while he performed his great talent among the audience. The delicious food provided by Kiwanis was served by the many volunteers. The food and fellowship with Marian Park residents was followed by Christmas desserts.

The moment had finally come; who all the children were very excited to see 'Santa Claus". He came bearing gifts for all children zero to eighteen. The children were excited to see what was under all the beautiful wrapping paper. Once the wrapping paper was off the children were very excited to see basketballs, footballs, Barbie dolls, board games and Target gifts cards for the teenagers. Marian Park was full of the Holiday Spirit as the children were ecstatic about all of their new toys.

A special thanks to Marian Park, Rita Kennedy & Cheryl Valdez at Franciscan Ministries. A big HOORAY is sent out to all the volunteers and the resources provided by; Wheaton Kiwanis, The Key Club of Wheaton North High School, Toys for Tots, Wheaton Public Library, First Nations Bank of Wheaton and the Marian Park NAC. Finally thank you to the Marian Park residents for attending and being such excellent guest.
