Shirley M. Trost nee O'Donnell, 88, a seven year resident of Wheaton and formerly of Burr Ridge, IL, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

She was born December 8, 1924 in Chicago and raised there also. She was a retired teacher with the Chicago Public Schools.

She is survived by her children, Catherine Trost-Steffen, Charles J. Jr. (Pamela) and Thomas (Lynn); her grandchildren, Amelia, Benjamin, Adam, Faith, Alex, Joseph, Madeline, Charles III, Mary Ellen, Thomas, Corrinna and Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Hagen and Xavier; her brother Michael O'Donnell; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Sr.; her daughter Ellen; a brother Thomas O'Donnell and her sister Patricia Trost.

Visitation Thursday, Dec. 20 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187 (1 blk. East of Naperville Rd.). Funeral home prayers Friday 9:15 a.m. proceeding to St. Michael Church, 310 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton, IL. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
