Visitation Tuesday for Mary McCann, 74

Mary McCann of Wheaton died Thursday, Jan. 12 in Crown Point, IN from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was 74.

She was born June 20, 1937 in Kewanee, IL. She graduated from Clarke College in Dubuque, IA and Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle. 

She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Maureen and Karen; a son, Brian; three grandchildren, Madeleine, Carter and Spencer; and her parents, Blanche and Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda. 

A visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at , 430 Roosevelt Road, Wheaton. A memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at , 310 Wheaton Avenue in Wheaton. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Friends of the Wheaton Public Library c/o , 225 Cross Street, Wheaton
