Irvin L. "Duke" Kunka, 90, born in Chicago, and a longtime resident of Wheaton. Loving husband of the late Mary; beloved father of Robert (Alice), Maureen (Tom) Brylka, the late Leonard (Sarah); proud grandfather of Maria Brylka, Melinda (Scott) MacNeil, Timothy (Kristine) Brylka, Benjamin (Jennifer), Marcie (Neil) Callicoat and Emily; fond great-grandfather of Joanna, Casey, Isla, Sofia and Cayla; dear brother of the late Irene.

He was a WWII Coast Guard veteran who fought in the Battle of Leyte Gulf on the U.S.S. Bisbee.

Visitation Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. (one blk. E. of Naperville Rd.) Wheaton.
