Thomas Carron, 84, July 28, 1928-Oct. 29, 2012

Visitation for Thomas Carron of Wheaton will be Saturday, Nov. 3 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.

Thomas J. Carron, age 84, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2012. Born in Chicago, July 28, 1928, Mr. Carron served in the US Army in Japan after WWII, before graduating from DePaul University.

Mr. Carron and his brother, Jack, founded Carron & Company in the 1960s and directed the company together until retirement. He served as President of the Illinois Athletic Club, and was an avid golf, tennis and handball player.

Family was of the utmost importance to Mr. Carron. He was devoted to his children, nieces, nephews, and 10 grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters, Jean and Mary, and by his children, Patrick, Colleen, Nancy and Brian, and their respective spouses and children. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Abbey Carron.

Visitation will be held Sat., Nov. 3, 2012, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of a funeral services to be held at 4:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be held privately at Holy Sepulchre, Alsip, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to The American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc., 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10305.
