Virginia B. Kawka nee Szczepaniak died Friday, March 22. She was 87.
She was born December 7, 1925 in Chicago.

Preceeded in death by beloved husband Edward S. Kawka and cherished daughter Susan Kawka-Sucharski; survived by her loving children Paul Kawka, Denise (Robert) Karolewski, Michael (Maureen) Kawka, Patrice Silkaitis, and John (Angela) Kawka. Cherished grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 8; surrogate grandmother and friend to many. Parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church for 40 years.
Visitation Monday from 3-9pm at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. (1 block east of Naperville Rd.), Wheaton, IL 60187. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, St. John the Baptist Church, 233 Church St., Winfield, IL 60190. Interment at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.

Donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Francis of Asissi Animal Rescue in lieu of flowers.
