Lorraine Dusek, 88, Mar. 28, 1922 - Feb. 23, 2011

Lorraine Dusek of Wheaton died at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield Wednesday, Feb. 23. She was 88. She was born Mar. 28, 1922 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Marie DeRoo. 

She married her high school sweetheard, Charles Dusek on May 17, 1943 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton.

She and her husband were the founders and owners of Wheaton Radio from 1945 until their retirement in 1979. Afterwards, they traveled until her husband's death Jan. 4, 1996. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Jeanne and Joan; five grandchildren, Michelle, Donald, Heather, Michael and Kristoffer; and six great-grandchildren, Patrick, Tommy, Eleanor, Carolyn, Lauren and Trey.

Visitation was Sunday, Feb. 27 and Monday, Feb. 28. Memorials may be made to the CNS Hospice, 690 E North Ave, Carol Stream, IL, 60188.
