E. Theodore Miller, 85, May 28, 1925 - Apr. 23, 2011

E. Theodore Miller of Havana, IL, previously of Wheaton, died Saturday, Apr. 23. He was 85. 

He was born to Guy and Julia Miller on May 28, 1925. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. He graduated from the University of Michigan and Northwestern University with degrees in journalism. He spent his career with two Christian publishing houses, Scripture Press and Tyndale House, and was founding editor of the Christian Reader Magazine. He married Jeanne Marie Hunt in 1945.

He was a member of Wheaton Bible Church for more than 30 years, and was recently associated with First Baptist Church in Havana, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; Four sons, Jim, Rich, Jon and Bob; four grandchildren, Judd, Brian, Karen and Kathryn; and a great-grandson, Sam.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 30 at Wheaton Bible Church, 27w500 North Avenue, West Chicago.
