Betty and Bill were married Oct. 18, 1947 in St. Petronille Church, Glen Ellyn. They moved to Wheaton in 1948. Betty was the consummate mother of a large family, her memory book being replete with photos of first days in kindergarten and college graduations, family gatherings for 30 or more and cookie baking sessions with grandchildren. Equally pleasurable were bridge and definitely inexpert golf with a host of friends, Elderhostels in this country and abroad and volunteer work with local institutions. Patience and self-sacrifices were her lifelong bywords.

Visitation was Sunday at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton (1 blk. East of Naperville Rd.). Funeral home prayers Monday 9:15 a.m. and then to St. Michael Church, Wheaton. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Michael Cemetery.
