August Tiritilli, 84, Aug. 26, 1926 - July 30, 2011

August Tiritilli of Naperville, formerly of Wheaton, died Saturday, July 30 at Wynscape Nursing Center in Wheaton. He was 84.

He was born August 26, 1926 in Chicago. He served in the Army Air Force during World War Two. After the war he attended the University of Illinois and received a degree in engineering. He owned his own structural engineering business for 30 years. He was a member of the Wheaton Senior Tennis, Biking, Bowling and Golf Groups. He was a huge Chicago sports fan.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Irma; a daughter, Linda; a son, Michael Tiritilli; two grandchildren, Ryan and Sean; his brother, Andy; and his sister, Violet.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of a Veteran Flag Presentation at 4:45 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Wheaton.
