Andrew Rasmussen, 16, Feb. 10, 1995 - May 2, 2011

Andrew Rasmussen of Warrenville passed  away Monday, May 2. He was 16. 

He was born February 10, 1995 in Warrenville to Suzanne and James Rasmussen. 

He was a sophomore at Wheaton Warrenville South High School, where he participated in football, wrestling and baseball. He was also enjoyed fishing and dirt biking, which he did frequently with his brothers and cousins. 

He is survived by his parents, Suzanne and James; two younger brothers, Kyle and Shawn; five uncles, Gene, Stephen, Mitchell, Michael and Shawn; five aunts, Cheryl, Alexis, Sheila, Julie and Karen; 13 cousins, Ashley, Justine, James, Nathan, Gabrial, Jacob, Stephanie, Claire, Marc, Mariana, Nicholas, Zachery and Ryan; his maternal grandmother, Jane Egert; his paternal grandmother, Janis Rasmussen; and many friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5 at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. Visitation will begin Friday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 11:45, proceeding to St. Irene Church, 28W441 Warrenville Rd., Warrenville, for a 12:30 p.m. Mass.

Services will conclude at church. A memorial fund has been established to benefit the family. Contributions may be directed to the "Andrew Rasmussen Memorial Fund" at MB Financial Bank 28W571 Batavia Rd., Warrenville, IL 60555.
