Wheaton, IL - The Taste of Wheaton would not be complete without numerous high-profile musical guests! We are delighted to announce that Corky Siegel and his band will be the last musical performance at this year’s Taste during the Sunday Family Block Party. They will be performing as part of the Wheaton College Artist Series. A man of many hats, Corky Siegel is a composer, pianist, and performs original songs. He has been enchanting crowds for almost forty years. His music is reminiscent of a melodic blend between blues and classical genres and is appropriate for all ages. The Chicago Tribune says, “Gritty Chicago blues and rarefied classical chamber music might not seem like a match made in heaven until you’ve heard Corky Siegel bring the two together.”

The concert is FREE and runs from 3:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday June 2, 2013 on Hale Street. Will Grosch, Senior Vice-President of Community Bank – Wheaton/Glen Ellyn, exclaimed, “Corky Siegel’s Chamber Blues performance is the most eclectic show I’ve ever seen! Phenomenal! A must see for any music lover.” Make sure to bring your families and friends - this is a performance you simply cannot miss! We look forward to seeing you in the audience!
