Wheaton College Alumni Return for Anniversary Celebrations
Wheaton College's Alumni Weekend, May 9-11, will bring together alumni of all ages to celebrate milestone anniversaries and to spend a weekend at events packed with nostalgia, reunion and fellowship.
Classes celebrating reunions range from the class of 1939 to the class of 1984, including a 50-year anniversary for the class of 1964. Class dinners, programs and photos are on the weekend program, along with three special events:
*Alumni Symposium, Friday, May 9, 3 p.m., Barrows Auditorium, Billy Graham Center. Dr. William Lane Craig, Christian philosopher and theologian, will lecture on the chief challenges to Christianity today.
*Commencement Celebration Concert, Friday, May 9, 7:30 p.m., Edman Memorial Chapel. Wheaton College Conservatory groups will perform an evening of musical highlights.
*Spring Luncheon, Saturday, May 10, 11:30 a.m., King Arena. This memorable gathering of Wheaton alumni will include a walk through Wheaton history, recognition of landmark reunion classes, the presentation of the Alumnus of the Year award and a message from President Philip Ryken ’88.
