Special Dinner and Entertainment "Kirkin 'o'Tartans" at First Presbyterian Wheaton

For Immediate Release: Come to Scotland for an evening!
Wheaton, Illinois, - First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, 715 N. Carlton, Wheaton. Members of the greater Wheaton community are invited to enjoy a night of Scottish fare, history, music, entertainment and fellowship at the Church, beginning at 6pm Saturday evening February 11th.
2012 marks the fifth year that First Presbyterian Wheaton has celebrated its heritage with a week-end -long celebration that continues on Sunday February 12 with two special worship services, and entertainment featuring authentic Highlands dancing.
Besides a special meal (starting at 6pm), the evening will feature:
 Irish music with bagpipes
 Scottish Verses
 A historical presentation entitled “Robert Burns’ influence on Abraham Lincoln”
 A performance by the Thistle & Heather Highland Dancers of Chicagoland
Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased through the Church Office (630-668-5147)
