UNIONS picking Republican Nominees
We have known for years that the unions pick the Democrat candidates. Some of us have suspected that they have picked a few Republican candidates as well. Look where it has gotten this state. High unemployment and unsustainable promises. Now the unions are openly trying to pick Republican candidates.
Jeanne Ives, who is in her first term has represented us well, even getting Michael Madigan to admit that his pension "fix" was only a first step. Her opponent is desperate to discredit her. As of March 4th he has received $47,500 in donations from unions., the largest donor, IPACE (IL Pac for Education) giving $35,000.
Sandy Pihos, who has been in the IL house since 2003 and served over 10 years on a school board prior to that received $25,000 from IPACE on 9/28/2013, another $25,000 on 2/20/2014 and several thousands from other teacher organizations. Time to term limit her.

enter IPACE or Teacher (and contains) for last name. It can be quite enlightening.
