DISCOVERY EDUCATION NAMES STEVE MAYO OF COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT 200 A STAR DISCOVERY EDUCATOR

Community Unit School District 200 teacher, Steve Mayo, has been named a STAR Discovery Educator. The DEN is a community of educators passionate about teaching with digital media & sharing resources.

Silver Spring, Md. (April 26, 2013) – Steve Mayo, teacher from Community Unit School District 200, has been named a STAR Discovery Educator by Discovery Education for his commitment to harnessing digital learning to inspire students’ curiosity and prepare them for future careers. STAR Discovery Educators are active members of the Discovery Educator Network (DEN), a global community of educators who are passionate about teaching with digital media and technology and sharing ideas and resources. As a STAR Discovery Educator, Mayo has proven himself as a leader in transforming and enhancing learning in Wheaton North High School classrooms.
