The Wheaton North varsity football team will take on Lake Zurich in the quarterfinals of the Class 7A playoffs following a huge comeback against Fenwick last Saturday, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Wheaton North (9-2) was behind by 25 points before going on to score 26 points against Fenwick (9-2) to win 32-31 in the second round of the playoffs at Elmhurst College, according to the article.
Wheaton North, a No. 5 seed, will play Lake Zurich, a No. 1 seed, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Wheaton North, according to the Illinois High School Association.
Wheaton Warrenville South High School will not be continuing on in the Class 7A playoffs after losing in the second round to North High School in Downers Grove, according to the IHSA.
