Yoga By Degrees is teaming up with Metropolitan Family Services, local non-profit to celebrate its one-year anniversary in Wheaton
In recognition of its One Year Anniversary, Yoga By Degrees is offering a Donation Yoga Class to benefit Metropolitan Family Services. The local non-profit provides counsel and services for families in DuPage and surrounding counties struggling to overcome hardships. In addition, the highly praised, heated yoga studio, recognized for it’s cleanliness and knowledgeable instructors is partnering with neighboring health-oriented businesses to offer the community free food, fun and prizes during the celebration.
“Our students tell us how great we make them feel everyday so we wanted to use our Anniversary as time to express our gratitude by joining together in celebration to help others,” says Yoga By Degrees Manager, Samantha Raphael.
Mayor of Wheaton, Michael Gresk, will kick off the special occasion during a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Attendees are also invited to enjoy free chair massages from Massage Envy, refreshments from Whole Foods, enter to win prizes and check out Yoga By Degrees’ latest styles during a fashion show.
The One Year Anniversary Celebration takes place at Yoga By Degrees located at: 241 Rice Lake Square, Wheaton, IL 60189 on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
The public is invited to attend and events are scheduled as follows:
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Mayor of Wheaton, Chamber of Commerce and Yoga By Degrees Staff
10 AM - 11:30 AM Morning Refreshments from Whole Foods
10 AM - 12 PM Chair Massages from Massage Envy
12 PM - 1:15 PM Donation Yoga Class - Vinyasa (flowing)
Level 1-2 Class set at 95 Degrees Fahrenheit.
11:30 AM -2 PM Afternoon Refreshments from Whole Foods
1:30 PM - 2 PM Yoga By Degrees Boutique Fashion Show.
