See Santa At Christmas on the Farm Celebration

Christmas at Kline Creek Farm

Experience Victorian holiday celebrations during upcoming free events at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Kline Creek Farm, an 1890s living-history farm in West Chicago.

On Dec. 15 and 16 between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., talk with Santa during his special “Christmas on the Farm” visit. Climb into a sleigh for a seasonal picture, and learn the origins of several holiday traditions. Stop by the warming fire for caroling and spice cookies.

Then, discover historic “Christmas Memories” during tours of the farmhouse Dec. 1 – Jan. 7. See the tree trimmed with colorful treasures, and savor the aroma of holiday treats. Tours take place on the hour between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday through Monday except on Dec. 24, when the farm is closed.
