Grazyna Auguscik has won the praise of music critics and audiences alike who appreciate her singular voice that sings the universal language of music. Auguscik has released numerous recordings, and her performance schedule includes local venues such as the Copernicus Center as well as jazz festivals in Europe and across the world. During this performance, she will be accompanied by Ben Lewis on the piano.
General seating for the performance is $20 per person with a reduced price of $18 for students, seniors over 65 and groups of six or more.       Guided tours of Mayslake Hall will be available before the concert at 6:30 p.m. for $5 per person. This 39-room mansion was built in 1922 as a home for Francis Stuyvesant Peabody, a wealthy businessman. After Peabody’s death, the Franciscan Order of Friars Minor purchased the estate and transformed it into a center for Roman Catholic retreats. The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County purchased the estate in 1993. Today, Mayslake is on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as a unique place for art shows, musical performances and other cultural events. Mayslake Peabody Estate is located at 1717 W. 31st St., one-quarter mile west of Route 83.
