FIFTH HOUSE ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM "CAUGHT: THE WEB" AT MAYSLAKE PEABODY ESTATE

Enjoy a performance of “Caught: The Web” by chamber-music pioneers Fifth House Ensemble on Saturday, May 11 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook.
The Chicago-based Fifth House Ensemble is known for innovative musical programs that incorporate elements as diverse as storytelling, graphic novels, theatrical performance and fashion design. In “Caught: The Web,” musicians on flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn will draw on stories of life on the World Wide Web — told by regular people in communities throughout Chicago — to inspire this unique program.
General seating for the performance is $20 per person with a reduced price of $18 for students, seniors over 65 and groups of six or more. For tickets, call Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 W. 31st St. in Oak Brook, at 630-206-9566.
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County owns and manages 25,000 acres of prairies, woodlands and wetlands. Each year more than 4 million visitors enjoy 60 forest preserves, 145 miles of trails, five education centers and scores of programs.
