Join your fellow runners and walkers in this annual race on the Fourth of July. The race starts out in front of the Warrenville Park District's Rec Center at 8:00 a.m.; the race is run on USATF Certified Course IL-09121-JW. Chip timing is provided. Kids can participate in a 50- or 100-yard dash (registration is required). Awards are announced the day of the race. A portion of all proceeds benefit the Warrenville Park District Scholarship Program, which provides funds to children in need so they can participate in park district programs and events. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Register in advance at signmeup.com, www.warrenvilleparks.org, in person at the Registration Office, fax your entry to 630.393.7278; or sign up the day of the race from 6:30-7:30 a.m. The first 400 registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt and goody bag.
