"The Three-fold Value of a Liberal Arts Education"

The Interdisciplinary Studies Program at Wheaton College presents a lecture titled "The Three-fold Value of a Liberal Arts Education."

Delivering the lecture is Dr. Mark Roche, the Rev. Edmund P. Joyce, C.S.C., Professor of German Language and Literature and concurrent Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. He is also the author of award-winning book "Why Choose the Liberal Arts?" (University of Notre Dame Press, 2010). Drawing from the book, Roche will present three overlapping arguments for a strong liberal arts education and outline the benefits for students striving for success in today's tough economy.

Free and open to the public, this lecture takes place in room 339 of Blanchard Hall. A Q&A session and reception will follow. For more information, call 630.752.5158 or email ids@wheaton.edu.
