So you've registered. Well, here's more info:
Family fun run through lovely historic Wheaton (by family fun run, we mean you can run, walk, or crawl).
Oct 19 @ 9am at The Orchard UPC ( And no worries.. Google maps will recognize the name in your smart phone.)
$25 registration fee includes:

  • swag bag
  • super nifty race t-shirt
  • Pumpkin Pancake Party (proceeding race)
  • that fuzzy feeling you get when you give to a worthy cause
Why run 3.1 miles on your day off?
1. Did we mention you get an awesome t-shirt?
2. ALL proceeds go directly to Sheaves for Christ

Let me guess. Your next question is: What is Sheaves for Christ? (SFC for all the cool cats who are already familiar with this outstanding organization.)

Pretty much, SFC is one of the greatest blessings to the universe. They raise millions each year to help countries to which nobody else wants to travel. Providing reliable vehicles for missionaries, finding godly homes for orphans, and awarding college scholarships to deserving individuals are just a few focuses of SFC.

Wheaton-based church, The Orchard Church of Wheaton, has directly been blessed by Sheaves for Christ, and in return, would love to give back. The Orchard 5K is just one way to say, "Thank youuuuu!"

We welcome families, sports teams, youth groups, and various Olympic medalists to join us on Oct 19 as we strive to pay it forward - one mile at a time.

To keep up with updates and see race results, follow us on the ol' Facebook:
The Orchard 5K community page - a page to connect and follow.
The Orchard 5K event page - a page to RSVP and talk trash in a way that would please the Father.
If you don't know which to click, click both. Good things will happen.
We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
